Dear Angela
McCown, Director of Victim Services Division
I am writing on
behalf of the families of the four young girls that Ricky
Carter murdered when he chose to drive under the influence
of alcohol. A jury of his peers found him guilty and
sentenced him to 20 years in prison. I believe he should
serve the full sentence and that to parole him after eight
years says that each girl’s life was only worth two years of
punishment to him. Please do the right thing and keep Mr.
Carter behind bars for his full sentence so that he will not
be able to kill anyone else. Thank you for considering this
request.
