Hi, my name
is Rene Roberts-Gunter, I have known Staci Lee's
dad David Lee since the seventh grade. David
was a dear friend to me and my family, he was
the little brother I never had. In 1998 when I
first hear of the accident, my heart went out to
all the families. With that being said, I felt
it important to try to do my best to help you
all out in this letter writing campaign. Below
is the post on my Facebook page in hopes, that
you may get more letters out of my post:
CALLING ALL
CLASSMATES FOR SUPPORT
My dear
friend from junior high and high school (our
classmate) David Lee lost his only daughter
Staci Nicole Lee 12/19/1998 to the recklessness
of drunk driver Ricky Carter. Staci and three of
her friends had go to grab some movies and get
something to eat. The girls never got to watch
the movies. Their lives snatched away by Ricky
Carter. The families and friends in the Brock
community have ask everyone to send a letter to
the parole board begging not to let Carter out
of jail early. Carter ONLY received 20 years, 5
years for each young life he took from this
earth….How is that possible? Now, after only 8
years, Carter is up for parole. Please take a
moment of your time to at least look at this
