Attn:
Raven Kazen;
The
innocence lost on that fateful day will never be forgotten.
I am writing to protest the release of Ricky Carter from
prison. I have an 8 year old daughter that I cherish and
want to keep safe from any tragedy that might come her way.
RICKY CARTER is a risk that I am not willing to take. I
knew these girls personally and I cannot imagine the grief
that these parents have had to deal with. Letting him out
of prison now would be an injustice to not only the families
but to the girls themselves. What would they say if they
were still here and it was a sibling that had passed away.
THEY WOULD ALL BE OUTRAGED AT THE CONSIDERATION THAT IS
BEING GIVEN RICKY CARTER. There are people who have had
drugs in their possession, or not paid their traffic tickets
that have been in prison longer- WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING
TO. These were four parents’ babies!!!! I am willing to
forgive this man for what he did but he should have to think
about it for quite a while longer
before
he gets to go on his next hunting trip.
He has not paid his debt to society yet because this
community is not done grieving for these girls. Five years
is not enough for four lives to be taken. Let him think
about this for much longer and let him contact these
families in searching for forgiveness and remorse. I urge
you to consider keeping where he belongs away from our
children and where he can think about the consequences of
his actions.
