Dear
Sirs;
Drunk
driving is not an accident. The individual makes the
conscientious decision to get behind the wheel of a car,
turn the ignition on, and drive to a place to imbibe
alcoholic beverages.
Once
there he makes the conscientious decision to drink too
much. He knew that he was driving and that he was going
to get back into his vehicle to drive impaired.
This
individual knew what he intended to do. He also knew
that there would be a high probability of having an
accident.
Drunk
driving needs to be considered the crime that it is.
Drunk
drivers need to be held accountable for their actions.
Letting a drunk driver off with a slap on the wrist is a
travesty! Drunk drivers are a serious threat to society
and need to be held accountable.
A car
should be considered a deadly weapon because it is.
Driving impaired should be no different from any other
crime where an individual uses a deadly weapon to cause
an individual’s death.
For
the protection of society Ricky Carter needs to stay
where he is!
Sincerely,
Judy
